We basically add more security hardening techniques, for example, level 3 has 3 times the amount of tweaks as level 1. We also analyze your traffic and block off certain countries with known hackers. Levels 2 and 3 have ongoing threat analysis and consistent monitoring to ensure we patch all vulnerabilities and keep your site safe and secure at all times. Depending on your risk tolerance you may be able to live with the starter plan, however as soon as you start getting a good amount of traffic considers switching to a better plan.
